Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Proceed to color the leather edge using your favourite product and your favourite technique. We recommend to use the Dense Edge Paint to have a good consistency.
Step 2: Once you finish the coloring phase let it dry completely, then you can lightly sand the leather edge using a brush or sandpaper with a very fine grain or a scotch-brite cloth. This operation purpose is to create a perfect smooth surface before the gloss application. You could repeat Step 1 and Step 2 more than once.
Step 3: Proceed with the Extra-Matte Topcoat application, you can apply it by hand or by machine. On this step you can choose to use the Extra-Matte Topcoat Colorless (that can be used over any color) or the Extra-Matte Topcoat Colored. In the second case you should choose the same color used during the Step 1. Take care to apply it uniformly on the whole leather edge surface.
Step 4: Once you complete the Extra-Matte Topcoat application you've only to wait for the correct dry time. It should take around 60 minutes. During this phase you should pay attention to the leather edge not to be ruined touching other items or objects.
