Leather Edge Paint

BASECOAT is the true evolution in the way of working. It must be used as first-hand and it has been designed to improve the final quality of the edge and reduce the number of applications needed to obtain a luxurious and high quality edge. The final purpose is to create a base with excellent adhesion on the leather item, which also fills all the imperfections of the edge, especially the line in the middle when working on edges made of hides paired with each other.

After the Basecoat category, we now talk about the COLORED EDGE PAINT category. There are two different types of paints: BASIC EDGE PAINT, DENSE EDGE PAINT. This order also represents the order of the evolution and quality of the paints. BASIC edge paint was our first development with good quality while the dense edge paint is our latest evolution with the best features. All the colored paints are matte, there only are small differences in the opacity point between one and the other.

The FASHION CATEGORY includes four new types of paint, they are: FLUO EDGE PAIN, METAL GLOSS and IRIDESCENT GLOSS (the latest release). These paints were created by the needs of some famous fashion houses that wanted to create something totally innovative and to have something special. That is why we created these never before seen effects.

Sometimes style and design require specific finishing on the leather edge, especially about the opacity or brightnees you want to give to the edge. This is the reason why we created the TOPCOAT category. In this category you find the PROTECTING GLOSS, and the EXTRA-MATTE TOPCOAT. Topcoats should be used only as final coat in the finishing process of the leather edge, and may be used on any of GIARDINI edge paints. They have been created using the latest chemical technology, and the final results will leave you astounded.
